Performance, Distortion, MTF Evaluation etc.
1. Performance
For the evaluation of the initial prototype for the lens scheme, first we must evaluate whether the performance will meet customer’s requirement or not. Apexel optical adopts the world’s leading performance testing equipment to conduct all-round performance testing of optical lens.
2. Distortion Evaluation
Due to the influence of the spherical aberration of the diaphragm, the height of the intersection of the principal rays of the different fields of view with the Gaussian image plane after passing through the optical system is not equal to the ideal image height. Therefore, Apexel will correct the distortion on the lens according to the needs of customers. It is very important. Apexel adopts the world’s advanced optical lens correction methods to conduct corresponding tests and evaluations.
3. MTF Evaluation
MTF is the current method of analyzing the resolution of the lens, which can be used to judge the ability of the lens to restore the contrast of the object,and it always obviouly affect the end user’s experience, so it is necessary to do MTF test when verifying the design. Apexel optical adopts advanced testing equipment to test and evaluate MTF to improve the user’s experience and also provide quantitative data for the subsequent improvement.
